I re-read your post and saw that you stated clearly what was on trial. Sorry.
The thing is, I don't disagree with A, B or C. However, I am not clear on what is your definition of "color" or of "factors associated with color." My definition of "color" is visibly discernible skin pigment." My definition of "factors associated with color" is any physical characteristic which is usually present in people w/ visibly discernible skin pigment OR any adjudication of non-white status by Racist Man/Woman of any person w/ no visibly discernible skin pigment." In other words, I think the empircal evidence shows that having skin lacking in pigment is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being classified as "white."
I propose that we try our definition sets separately not simultaneously. One or neither of our defintion sets may prove to be incorrrect. Disproving one does not, necessarily prove the other.
If I'm wrong showing me that only helps me so please don't be timid about showing me any errors.
