I was only responding to Virtual God's post about "unintentional" racism. I didn't whether or not I actually believed this phenomenon was possible. That is why the word "inadvertently" is in parenthesis. It wasn't really the focus of my post. I meant to say they are ALWAYS to be held responsible for their actions, because it's always up to them to question their actions. This is not the best example of the point I was illustrating, but: one can break the law and not be aware of it, but that person is still considered responsible for his/her own actions, and thus is he/she must give account for his/her deeds. Even if there WAS some way that racism could be practiced on an unconscious level, it's still the person's responsibility to recogize the problem and deal with it.
