Happens all the time. niggas buy into that class bullshit thinking that aquiring the symbols of White supremacy (big house, expensive car, harvard degree...) will make you a virtual White person.
Paul Mooney calls it, "the illusion of inclusion". It works very well but it suffers from one major flaw. There is alway aleast one racist who can't resist ruining the illusion by administering a "nigger wake up call".
