I believe that statement is incorrect. By the logic, people are either white, nonwhite or racists (white supremacists).
Because a person is phenotypically white, does NOT mean they function as white in all areas of society (by any of the 3 identifiers, they would be nonwhite).
'Miami Cubans' at one time, were considered nonwhite, because they were mistreated by whites solely on the basis of color or factors associated w/color.
However, it appears (to me) that they now FUNCTION as white, having made the 'Phase Shift' that Andrea spoke of. I suspect this is based on their collective mistreatment of blacks solely because of color.
Please recall that before, 'white' Italians, 'white' Irish, etc...groups of phenotypically white people at one time, did NOT function as white (and were therefore nonwhites). They too made the 'Phase Shift' by collectively mistreating blacks.
Recap: one cannot function as white, simply because one 'appears' white (according to counter-racist logic). Please correct me if I'm wrong. Regards, 0.6Man, where 0.6=3/5
