I also think that the term latino was devised to because white people know that the average latino has some non-white mixture in their blood.--Dee

Dee, Where I am the term Latino is used to describe newly arrived non white spanish speaking people. but the term Latina is used to describe most of the spanish speaking females. Hispanic is the term for term for people who look "latino" but speak English with out an accent.

What ever happened to the term "Chicano" wasn't that a term from California?
