I do not wish to prove that Africa is the birthplace of all people. I believe that it's not where you were born, but the fact you were indeed born into the known universe that counts.
In my thinking the proper relationship with that which placed us into the universe, I will call it the All-Power, is all important. Whatever it was that placed us here appears to have the most power of any entity, since I have not seen any person and/or collection of people create even the wing of a fly, and hence is due utmost regard and reverence by all persons. It is my thinking that those persons and/or societies which achieve a correct "relationship" with the All-Power, ARE successful in correctly evolving in all areas of people activity in direct proportion to the strength of their relations with the All-Power.
About "whitewashing"; as a Black person living under conditions of White Supremacy, I believe "history", as it is currently projected in this part of the world, is fashioned by many very powerful and shrewd people who desire to support the existence of White Supremacy. White Supremacy appears to work for them as a tool for the ultimate end; LUST for Dominion and Power.
I support Justice and to the extent that Afrocentrism supports Justice, I align myself with that. I have the same exact relationship with Americanism, or Buddism, or Hinduism, or any other "ism" you can call upon.
I admit to "playing the whiteman's game" to the extent that the "whiteman's game" equals White Supremacy and to the extent I am indeed victimized by that culture of injustice. I do at all times attempt to NOT use the White Supremacist value system for any purpose. I choose not to use any "man's" culture as THE ultimate measurement of correct thought, speech and action.
The real WAR in all of this is for me to properly discover what the All-Power wants of me and to align myself with that. What men want will change, what the All-Power wants doesn't though my understanding of that latter will.
My connection with America is the same as it is with Africa. America is a place on the earth as is Africa. They are geographical locations. My relationship with both places may be defined as distance as in how far am I from this point on the planet or it can also be philosophical. What does America represent as a philosophy? What does Africa represent? What does Asia represent?
My association with America and Africa, as I have stated are the same. Even as it relates to philosophy. Since I believe that all correct and constructive thought, speech and actions are "owned" by the All-Power, AND since I believe that all thought, speech and action IS the sum total of "culture", AND I belive that all culture can be defined as either correct culture (Justice)or incorrect culture (Injustice), AND since I believe that the only culture that has relevance with the All-Power is a culture of Justice, it follows that I believe America means Justice just as Africa means Justice. I seek to have no conflict between my religion or my politics. That is codification.
