Horace,

In "Aliens" the White people just go to another planet and start building a giant factory and exploitng all the resources. They never ask permission or concern themselves with the beings who are already there.

Does any of this sound familiar?

It appears that this so called "Alien" must have been in contact with other non whites and knew that the next step was enslavement or dislocation or both.

I find it very interesting that the being that was at home on this planet, minding her own buisness, gets called an "Alien" by White people.

This is actually turning out to be a better example of racist thought than I thought it would be.

This is one of the main ways that White Supremacy is taught. Most non white people don't see it because they are in it.

Fear of annihilation at the hands of some "other" being is a standard theme of science fiction movies, why is this?

It is also interesting that one of the top tv shows right now is called "surviver."

I don't have my Cress theory handy but I think what White people are demonstrating with their choice of subject matter is called,

Reaction Formation.

They have this fear of genetic annihilation so they create these senarios as a way to compensate. And in these senarios, they always survive.

I need to reread the Cress theory to explain it better, but I know I saw it in there.

Josh
