I remember that in an earlier post someone mentioned that white supremacy was being refined to the extent that non-whites were being given more and more control, even to the extent of actually helping to run white supremacy.
Is a similar thing happening symbolically?
I think so. According to Cress Theory, the dynamic of white supremacy is also expressed in "ball games". Big non-white balls and small white balls.
In one of the papers in the book, she mentions that non whites are effectively barred from playing "small white ball" sports like tennis and golf.
But as the standard of living for non-whites continues to decline( as evidenced by blacks now calling each "dog" ( an even lower drop from "boy" and "baby" ).
We have Venus and Serena Williams beginning to dominate Tennis. Non white women dominating small white balls - no wonder they are percieved as unfriendly. They are probably being mistreated and having this being projected on them instead.
Tiger Woods. Now while blacks call each other "dog", remember that a "tiger" is also a canine.Dogs the saying goes, are a man's best friend. Tiger Woods is loved by white people, as he dominates the sport. But he has to do certain things. It is okay for him to train other nonwhites to control white balls . But he has to play the game for "fun" and not "with a killer instinct" as tennis player Jimmy Conners once said. sure he has uncommon focus , and is touted as the Greatest Athelete ever.But his focus is "chasing" Jack Nickalaus record major wins.
I think that white supremacy trains people as to how to act in their roles by using Sports and Entertainment. Dr. Ben Carson frequently bemoans the emphasis on Sports an Entertainment and I couldn't see why this society does that. But now I do. The music in the entertainment industry is used to keep the people focused on their roles. Classical : for the elite racists? Popular : for the not so sophisticated.
Rap : For the victims, classified as black , who are to keep focussing on non important issues and things that take care of themselves (sex and cash ).
Sports : Most people who participate in sports are clasified as dumb jocks, others also excell in school, join secret societies , and work in postions of power - military, government. One point is that even non-whites are excelling in sports and symbollically dominating white and non-white gentic material, they are not pictured as dominated in the area of Education!
That is how white supremacy copes with these dominant black atheletes - even though not many atheletes" find time" to educate themselves. Especially in this time of increasing technology, where more education and more critical thinking is needed to navigate the system (Isis Papers). They are just looked at as of little real consequence. Now let's look at some people in govermnment and in the military.
Condoleeza Rice. She handles Bush's foreign affairs to the point where Bush told the head of Russia as the person" who taught me everything I know about Russia". I read that she decides who even gets to influence the president. As in she decides who his advisors are. But she is supporting someone who is a racist suspect, based on his previous actions.
Gen. Colin Powell is also an " important" person in government , but he does not seem to have any real power. He does seem to have his work focussed on "peace" though.
It seems that white supremacy continues to refine itself...
Suggestions: I have not analyzed Dr. Ben Carson's acitivity yet, but I can tell that he is still a victim and that he knows it. I have been reading about him since 1997. He acknowledges the presence of racism. He feels that Knowledge will change the present situation though...H e knows his Black History(achievements,etc. I wonder just how much he knows...I'll continue to think about it.
